Inspired by the high volume dove shooting found around Cordoba, Argentina, Benelli engineers designed the Cordoba as a lightning fast hunting gun with all the advanced features of a serious sporting clays shotgun. Incorporated into the new Cordoba is the 10-mm tapered sporting rib favored by competition shooters, and porting to keep barrel climb to a minimum. The ComforTech™ stock cushions the blow when an afternoon’s ammo isn’t measured in boxes, but by the case. The ComforTech™ system also helps reduce barrel climb and puts the shooter back on target 69% faster, making the Cordoba possibly the fastest field gun ever built. A Crio® barrel and extended Crio® choke tubes put more pellets on target, and the whole package is finished in matte black GripTight™ coating or Advantage® Max-4 HD™, so a reflected flash won’t give you away.
ShellView, available with the 20-gauge Cordoba, allows the shooter check the number of shells in the magazine tube with quick glances. Extended Crio Chokes reduce pellet deformation for better clay busting performance. The ported barrel combined with the ComforTech system nearly eliminates muzzle climb allowing for fast second target acquisition. A high-visibility red bar sight and 10- to 8-mm tapered stepped rib, provides fast and consistent sight alignment. Benelli’s Grip Tight coating on the Cordoba on black synthetic Cordoba features a high-tech texturing on both stock and fore-end. This new, synthetic over-coating feels almost tacky to the touch, and gives a sure grip wet or dry, with bare hands or even gloves. GripTight™ is totally weather resistant and completely bonded to the stock and fore-end’s synthetic material surface.
